Manuel started his career in management consulting at The Boston Consulting Group and later worked in private equity and venture capital in Switzerland and China. Since 2007 he oversees a diversified portfolio of investments in technology growth companies and alternative assets in Europe and Asia for his family and especially his uncle Dr. Uli Sigg (the world's largest collector of contemporary Chinese arts and former Swiss ambassador to China). Manuel sits on numerous boards of directors of technology and internet companies, collects and creates art, and is the founder of the Freedom Flowers Foundation which supports art projects connected to human rights. Manuel has a Master’s degree in Finance, Reporting and Controlling from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and Fudan University in Shanghai. He is also a CFA and CAIA charter holder.
